detail and natural style we commissioned Bill to paint the house we had designed. Delighted with the result, we’ve since purchased several more of Bill’s watercolours. |

When we were renovating Torlinnhe, we thought it would be a lovely idea to display a selection of Bill’s work in our guest lounge. |
|
The small exhibition includes a few pictures we have purchased as well as some on loan from Bill and available for sale. Bill is currently working on a number of scenes local to Fort William including Ben Nevis and the West Coast, some of which we hope to be showing in 2010. |

Bill’s Biography Bill worked as a carpet designer for 53 years both in the UK and in America—as Bill says, people walk on his work in many of the world’s luxury hotels! Painting has always been a hobby of Bill’s. Painting in watercolour, acrylic and pastels his subject matter is varied and includes European as well as Scottish scenes. |

Bill and his wife Margot moved back to Pitlochry in 2005 to be nearer their grandchildren. Happy to be back in his native Scotland, Bills intention is to paint the country’s landscape and flowers in abundance! |
|
Demand for Bill’s work is increasing and he was asked to exhibit at the Arts Centre and Theatre at Pitlochry in March 2009 as well as numerous local exhibitions around Scotland.
