Lovely quirky café with pottery painting studio. Kids (and big kids!) will love it. Torlundy—Lochaber Farm Shop. A superb menu and friendly service, everything you’d expect of a family run Farm Shop and more. Situated on the road to the Nevis Range Mountain Gondola. Achintee—Ben Nevis Inn. See below. Fort William town centre-Café Chardon, Cinema Lane (behind Blacks, the Outdoor Shop. Arisaig—The Old Library Lodge & Restaurant, fabulous views to Eigg, Rum and the Inner Hebrides. Mallaig—The Tea Garden, fresh fish from the quay daily. Fort William town centre—Cobbs, within Nevisport at the top of the High Street near the library. Great Places to Eat in the Evening (some of these are open for lunches too!) In the Town The Crannog Seafood Restaurant Fantastic food and a stunning lochside location. Good wholesome food with some traditional Scottish fayre. Award winning traditional alehouse. Great choice of menu in the restaurant with an atmosphere to match! Right by the Caledonian Canal and Neptune’s Staircase. Choice of restaurants, formal and informal. Award winning hotel, definitely the place to go for a ‘special’ dinner. A Longer Drive Away (but worth it!) Spectacularly situated in Kentallen (about 14 miles away), superb seafood in the restaurant and a lovely drinks terrace. Beautifully situated in Glencoe (13 miles away), choice of 3 bars with a rustic charm of their own. Relaxed and intimate restaurant in Spean Bridge (about 8 miles away), friendly proprietors and superb food. The old Spean Bridge Station buildings give a unique atmosphere to great home cooking at very reasonable prices. (About 8 miles away). Prince’s House Restaurant, Glenfinnan In the heart of Bonnie Prince Charlie country, on the ‘Road to the Isles’ this lovely restaurant uses the finest local food, simply prepared by award-winning chef Kieron Kelly. (About 17 miles away). Contemporary restaurant serving absolutely fresh, delicious seafood, beautifully prepared and presented. (About 10 miles away on the shores of Loch Leven)
