Climb Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain at 1344m (4406’). Very popular to do, but can also be very dangerous. Take advice before attempting it!!

For adventure and fun—rain or sun, ’Get Stuck In’ at the Ice Factor in Kinlochleven.  There’s the Ice Wall (5 times bigger than any other in the world!) as well as over 600m2 of state-of-the-art rock climbing wall.  NEW: High Level Rope Walk. 

Sit back, hold on and feel the acceleration as you zoom down Loch Linnhe on The SeaXplorer RIB.  These one or two hour eco-adventures are the perfect way to experience Lochaber’s wildlife.

Get wet, have a blast and get your heart rate up with Vertical Descents.Experience the thrill of Canyoning, slide through natural water flumes, jump and abseil off water falls. Or feel the sensations of fast moving and powerful water as you try White Water Rafting,  Also Fun Yakking, Kayaking, Mountain Biking, Paintballing, Climbing and Abseiling.

Come to the ‘Outdoor Capital of the UK’ and cycle quiet roads and unending forest tracks.  There are trails that last just a couple of hours to longer ones to the most westerly mainland point of the British Isles.  You’ll pass through friendly crofting townships and along the shores of great sea lochs along the way.  Check out the Ride Fort William and the Forestry Commission Scotland websites for routes and local cycle hire.

Put on your warm winter gear, travel up the Mountain Gondola at The Nevis Range for great skiing and snowboarding.  You could even try skibiking, a cool, safe and fun way to enjoy the snow (selected weeks only).  Alternatively try Glencoe Mountain for spectacular views.
